New luxury retirement retreat Lindors
Wye Valley is one of the most dramatic lowland landscapes in Southern Britain and is an area of outstanding natural beauty that covers 128 square miles from Mordiford near Hereford in the north, to Chepstow in the south.
Throughout 2018 the quaint 19th century country house will be renovated to 23 luxury suites and lodges offering spectacular views over the 9-acre grounds. Flexibility will be offered in terms of stay length, catering towards both long and short-term residents. This means that the retirement home will attract a wider pool of residents, positively affecting occupancy rates. Investors can purchase a unit for R1.25m and receive a 10% return over a ten year commercial lease, with a 125% buy-back option in year 10. The retirement home is fully managed, meaning that investors do not have to worry about the day-to-day maintenance of the unit.
Due to the weak pound, it is expected that more and more people will choose domestic retreats instead of going abroad, strengthening the short term demand. The ageing population in Gloucestershire will also strengthen long-term demand at Lindors. Whilst staying at Lindors, residents can enjoy social activities such as wine tasting, fine dining and exploring the local area. For those who prefer relaxing indoors, there is also a spa and private cinema room.
Investment consultants will be in various cities around South Africa from the 17th – 27th July, offering one-to-one consultations. If you are thinking of safeguarding your savings and investing it overseas, book your place now to receive bespoke investment advice.
