Small Renovations that make a Big Difference

< 1 min read

A new work from home office, quick repaints, new entertainment area or some extra protection from the elements – 2021 is the year of renovation.

If you already have or are considering revamping your home, there are a number of points to consider in addition to selecting the right creative design changes and products that enhance your home.

Living within a community governed by a homeowners association or body corporate, means that you are subjected to the rules and aesthetic guidelines of the community. It is important to understand and correctly interpret these processes to ensure that your renovations go uncontested.

Often in addition to the aesthetic requirements, community associations require various insurance policies to be in place. Once the renovations or revamping is complete, it is often necessary to reevaluate the cover you have on your home and contents.

In this discussion Estate Living and our panel of experts which include Zerlinda van der Merwe, Sectional title and HOA specialist TVDM Consultants, Carol Ras, Plascon Paints and Carla Benade of Outsurance as we provide insight into small renovations that make a big difference and the rules to consider.
