Renovations to the space have been underway for some time, and the transformation is now almost complete.
What was once our familiar Gatehouse is being given a fresh new purpose, with the space soon becoming home to Pure Movement, a dedicated movement studio founded by experienced movement educator Suzanne Smit.
With more than 20 years of professional experience in holistic movement therapies, Suzanne brings a wealth of knowledge and a deeply considered approach to helping people understand, connect with and move their bodies better. Pure Movement is built around evidence-based principles of kinesiology, neurophysiology and somatic science, with a personalised approach that recognises that each body is different.
Whether your goal is to feel stronger and more comfortable in everyday life, support your sporting performance, or simply move and feel better, the focus is on reconnecting with your body’s natural ability to perform at its best.
And while we’ll have to wait just a little longer to experience it for ourselves, the new studio is already shaping up to be a beautifully considered space – one designed to inspire movement, wellbeing and a little more balance in our busy lives. The countdown is officially on.
